The sheepdog gaze upon their land, and guard their herd on the outskirts of Omalo, Tusheti. Shepherds and hungry wolves and bears often come into conflict in the wilderness when sheep are present. These shepherd dogs, bred as fierce, loyal fighters, allow the shepherds to live in harmony with predators.
